Yourcash Receiver Schedule
This Schedule applies when you claim a Yourcash Voucher. Read it with the Yoursafe Debit Card Terms and the Country Part for your claim below.
If you receive a Yourcash Voucher, a Sender has bought electronic money and shared a Claim Link. Opening the link does not make the money yours. You receive only the amount you validly claim. Any unclaimed amount stays with the Sender. The Claim Link has no fixed expiry date.
1. About this Schedule
1.1 “We”, “us” and “our” mean Yoursafe B.V., trading as Yoursafe and Yourcash. “You” are the person who claims or tries to claim a Voucher. We call you the “Receiver”. Our company and contact details are in section 10.5.
1.2 This Schedule and your Country Part add Yourcash rules to the account and card terms that apply to you, including the Debit Card Terms. If this Schedule gives a different Yourcash rule, that rule takes priority. If your Country Part gives a different rule, the Country Part takes priority.
1.3 Before you agree, we give you this Schedule, your Country Part, the applicable account and card terms and the Price Chart in a form you can save and reproduce unchanged. You can ask for a paper copy. Before claiming, you must accept this Schedule and your Country Part. If a new account or card agreement is needed, you must also accept its terms and prices. We keep a record of the versions supplied and your acceptance.
1.4 The versions supplied for your claim apply to that claim. A later version or a Country Part for another country does not change it. Section 10.1 explains changes to ongoing account and card rules.
1.5 This Schedule applies while you use Yourcash and to claims or corrections under it. You can still complain or exercise rights relating to an earlier claim or payment after your account or card agreement ends.
2. Before you claim
2.1 The person who bought the Voucher is the “Sender”. The Voucher holds electronic money, also called e-money. The “Claim Link” is the link used to claim that money.
2.2 Receiving or opening the Claim Link does not transfer or reserve money for you. The first eligible person to complete a valid claim receives the amount they claim. Until then, that amount belongs to the Sender.
2.3 Only claim money if you reasonably believe the Sender meant you to receive it. Do not claim money from a link you found online or know was sent to you by mistake. Do not buy, sell or trade a Claim Link, or accept it as payment for goods or services.
2.4 The Claim Link can be used from the time the Sender buys the Voucher. It has no fixed expiry date. It stops working when no money remains on the Voucher or when we block it.
2.5 The Sender can ask us to block further claims or return unclaimed money. We may also return unclaimed money after giving the Sender notice under the Sender Terms. This does not affect money you have already validly claimed.
3. Claiming the Voucher
3.1 Use the Yoursafe App and follow the claim steps. You must meet the eligibility requirements in your Country Part. A claim is complete only when we approve it.
3.2 We set up your Yourcash account and card as part of your first claim. When we approve a valid claim, we transfer the claimed amount from the Voucher to your account without delay. That amount then belongs to you. Amounts from later claims are added to the same account.
3.3 You can claim all or part of the available Voucher balance. Your account and card limits may affect how much you can claim at one time. Section 7 explains these limits. Each completed claim reduces the Voucher balance by the amount transferred. Any unclaimed amount stays with the Sender. You can claim more later if the Claim Link still works, money remains and you meet the rules for claiming.
3.4 We provide a record of each completed claim that you can save. It shows the amount, date and reference.
3.5 Voucher claims are in euros. We do not convert currency when you claim. Your Country Part explains any fee for claiming a Voucher or returning your money. It also identifies the Price Chart for your account and card.
4. Getting your money back
4.1 You can ask us at any time to return all or part of the e-money you hold in your account. This is called redemption. We redeem it at full value. Section 4.5 explains any fee. There is no minimum amount.
4.2 Email accounthelp@yoursafe.com with your name and account or claim reference. We may ask for proof that the money belongs to you and for information required by law.
4.3 We arrange a safe way to return the money to you. If we return only part of your balance, the rest stays in your account under your account and card terms.
4.4 If you have not yet verified your identity, we ask you to do so before we return money. We may also need to carry out fraud, sanctions or other legal checks. We explain any delay unless the law or security reasons prevent this. You do not lose your right to the money just because we carry out these checks.
4.5 Any fee for returning your money is stated in your Country Part and disclosed before you agree.
4.6 Redemption is separate from withdrawing from a new account or card agreement under section 5.
5. Withdrawing from a new account or card agreement
5.1 If claiming a Voucher opens a new account or card agreement, you may withdraw from that agreement within 14 calendar days, without giving a reason. The period starts when the agreement is made or, if later, when you receive the terms and information required by law. If the Debit Card Terms or the law give you a longer period, that longer period applies.
5.2 To withdraw, email a clear statement to accounthelp@yoursafe.com or write to the address in section 10.5. Include your name and account or claim reference. No special form is required. Your notice is on time if you send it before the period ends. Keep a copy of what you sent.
5.3 Completing a claim does not by itself end your withdrawal right. A claim into an existing account does not by itself restart the withdrawal period for that account or card. You keep any separate withdrawal right given by law.
5.4 If you withdraw, we do not charge a cancellation fee or any Annual Fee under the Debit Card Terms. We return any money we owe you following your withdrawal without delay and no later than 30 calendar days after receiving your notice. We arrange a safe way to return it to you.
5.5 Withdrawing does not automatically reverse payments you have made or authorised. You keep any separate right to a payment refund. If you are required to return money to us following withdrawal, you must do so without undue delay and no later than 30 calendar days after sending your notice.
5.6 You can also ask us to close your account or cancel your card at any time, using the contact details in section 10.5. Closing is free of charge. Your account and card terms explain the process. You can still ask us to return your e-money under section 4.
6. Claim problems and corrections
6.1 If a claim does not complete, any money not transferred stays on the Voucher and belongs to the Sender. You may try again if the Claim Link still works and the problem can be resolved.
6.2 You cannot claim money that has already been transferred to a Receiver or returned to the Sender. Any money still on the Voucher can be claimed under section 3.3.
6.3 If we approve your claim but cannot set up your card, the money stays in your account. Contact us through the App or at accounthelp@yoursafe.com. We help you access the money or explain how to ask for your money back under section 4.
6.4 If the Sender disputes the card payment or withdraws from the purchase, this does not by itself reverse a valid claim or take money from you. We may still investigate fraud, misuse or another legal problem.
6.5 If we find that money was added to your account through an invalid claim, a mistake, a duplicate transfer or fraud, we may correct your account balance. This can mean that we take the affected amount back from your account. We do this only as the law and the Debit Card Terms allow. We tell you what we have done unless the law or security reasons prevent this.
6.6 We may temporarily block use of the affected amount while we check what happened, as allowed by the Debit Card Terms and the law. If we owe you a refund, we pay it within the applicable deadline, whether or not we recover the money from someone else.
7. Using Yourcash
7.1 The balance and use limits in sections 7.2 to 7.4 apply to your Yourcash card and its account until we have verified your identity. Once we have verified your identity, your card becomes a regular Yoursafe card and the normal limits under your account and card terms apply instead.
7.2 Your balance cannot exceed EUR 150 before we have verified your identity. To claim an amount that would take your balance above EUR 150, you must first complete identity verification. Any amount not claimed stays on the Voucher and belongs to the Sender.
7.3 Do not spend more than EUR 150 in total in a calendar month with the card. Do not make a single payment above EUR 50 online, in an app, by telephone or through another remote method.
7.4 Use the card only to pay merchants for goods or services. Do not withdraw cash, transfer money to another person or use the balance to buy a new Yourcash Voucher. You can ask us at any time to return your own e-money under section 4.
7.5 Do not split payments or use several claims, Vouchers, Claim Links or accounts to get around a limit that applies to you. Do not use merchant refunds to get around a limit.
7.6 If you break these rules, we may restrict use of your card as allowed by the Debit Card Terms and the law. We may also ask you to complete identity verification.
7.7 We may ask for information or carry out checks where required by law or to prevent fraud or financial crime. We may pause a claim, restrict use of your account or card, or delay a return while necessary checks are completed. We explain this unless the law or security reasons prevent us from doing so.
8. Security and payment problems
8.1 Keep the Claim Link private for as long as it can be used. Do not post it online, share it with others or enter it on a website you do not trust. Tell us at once if you think the link has been exposed or misused, and let the Sender know if you can.
8.2 Keep your phone, App login details, card and PIN safe. The Debit Card Terms explain what to do if they are lost, stolen or misused. Use the contact details in section 10.5 if you need help.
8.3 Tell us without delay if you discover a payment you did not authorise or that was carried out incorrectly. The Debit Card Terms explain your payment rights and responsibility for losses. This Schedule does not limit any rights you have by law.
8.4 Give us accurate information and keep your contact details up to date.
9. Personal data and protection of your money
9.1 The Yourcash Privacy Notice supplements the Yoursafe Privacy Policy. Together, they explain how we use your personal data and how you can exercise your privacy rights.
9.2 If the Sender asks us to email you the Claim Link, the Sender gives us your email address. We use it to send the link and handle the claim and security checks. Our first message explains that the Sender supplied your address and how we use it.
9.3 We protect the e-money in your account for as long as we hold it, in accordance with the rules that apply to electronic money institutions. E-money is not a bank deposit and is not covered by a deposit guarantee scheme.
10. Updates, complaints, law and contact
10.1 We may change the Yourcash use rules in this Schedule and your account and card rules, but only in the way the Debit Card Terms and the law allow. A completed claim keeps the versions that applied to it.
10.2 You can ask us to explain Yourcash before you claim. If we use an automated service to explain it, you can ask for an explanation from a person instead. You can also ask for this after the agreement is made where needed.
10.3 To complain, use the contact details in section 10.5. Tell us what went wrong and include your account, claim or payment reference if you have one. We address all points raised and give you our final response within 15 business days after receiving your complaint, on paper or in another agreed form you can keep. If exceptional circumstances outside our control prevent this, we explain the delay within those 15 business days and tell you the date by which you will receive our final response. We provide it no later than 35 business days after receiving your complaint.
If your complaint is not resolved, you may take it to Klachteninstituut Financiële Dienstverlening (Kifid), the Dutch financial-services complaints institute, if it falls within Kifid’s rules. Procedures, time limits and English forms are at Kifid complaint instructions. Contact: P.O. Box 93257, 2509 AG The Hague, the Netherlands; +31 70 333 8999. 10.4 The laws of the Netherlands apply to our contract and this Schedule. You keep any consumer rights that apply to you under the law of your home country. You may use any court available to you under consumer law, including a court where you live.
